Imagine it. God keeps his eye on us. Sometimes this has been used as a say of saying “watch out” using fear to keep us on “the right track”. This gives us an unfortunate view of God. God is keeping track of our failures. This is an unfair view of God. God looks upon us with love. He knows our heart. He knows that we are good because we are created as an expression of love. That does not mean that God is always pleased with what we do or say. But God always loves us, even in our failings.
