This new process of faith education is meant to be inclusive (families, grandparents, siblings both older and younger as well as members of our parish communities) who wish to not only prepare for the Sacraments of Initiation but also those who wish to grow in faith through new experiences as well as helping to welcome, mentor. and encourage others.Participation for a 3-year period beginning at 8 years of age and ongoing is required to prepare for the Sacraments of Initiation. Our Diocese uses the restored order of Sacraments.Following the 3-year, family faith journey, children and teens are Confirmed and receive First Eucharist at the same celebration. This special celebration is but a moment in a life-long journey of faith.
