FAITH EDUCATION
PROGRAMS

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Adults who which to explore the teachings, rituals, celebrations and community life of  Roman Catholicism or who wish to celebrate the sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) are invited to a journey of discussion, dialogue,  reflection, discernment and discovery. Faith journeys are based on individual needs. Please call for information.

Inclusive, Intergenerational Community Gatherings (IICG)

This new process of faith education is meant to be inclusive  (families, grandparents, siblings both older and younger as well as members of our parish communities) who wish to not only prepare for the Sacraments of Initiation but also those who wish to grow in faith through new experience as well as helping to welcome, mentor and encourage others. Participation for a 3 year period beginning at 8 years of age and ongoing is required to prepare for the Sacraments of Initiation. Our Diocese uses the restored order of Sacraments. Following the 3 year family faith journey, children and teens are Confirmed and receive First Eucharist at the same celebration.  This special celebration is but a moment in a life long journey of faith.
